NuCart is an easy to use shopping and powerfull cart software package. It will allow you to maintain every aspect of your online store directly from Microsoft Access on your local machine. NuCart will run on almost any web server and has been tested on Linux, FreeBSD, BSD, Windows NT, and others. It does not require any ODBC connection or server side database.
NuCart can be setup within minutes. There is no need to FTP or Telnet to your Internet server. Everything is very easily managed in Microsoft Windows through the Access NuCart manager. All the pages are template driven so you can quickly and easily change the look of your product pages in minutes. All system messages and page headers are all controlled through or interface.
The program reads from a database and displays up to date information. This prevents you from having to manually edit product pages as changes occur. With our store your customers can browse through a listing of available products grouped by related categories.
For retailers with a large number of products there is a search feature built in that allows the consumer to quickly locate the product by its name or description. When your customer finds a product that he/she is interested in they can enter the desired quantity and add it to a virtual shopping cart. This shopping cart follows them as they move throughout the store and additional products can be added at any time. If the consumer decides to remove an item from the cart or change the quantity of an item this can be done easily.
When your customers finishes selecting goods they are presented with a subtotal. They next proceed to the checkout area and enter information about themselves. Tax and shipping charges are added depending upon where the consumer lives and a grand total it displayed. Your customer consumer is given the choice of several different payment methods. They can leave their credit card information online using our secure server. The secure server encrypts the consumer's credit card information to protect them. If they would rather fax or mail their order in they can print an invoice. The order is sent to the retailer and the order is shipped when payment has been verified. This feature is up to the merchant.
